Dutch is an accessible and fun language to learn! From may 19th 2025, Dutch at the University of Sheffield offers Beginner 2, the second part of its complete beginner course new Online Dutch Course which started in January.
Join an informal community of learners that work together in small groups with a highly experienced university tutor.
Dutch is an accessible Germanic language spoken by 25 million people across the Netherlands, Belgium, Suriname and parts of the Caribbean. It is also consistently in the top five of languages most frequently requested by UK employers.
