Dates: 18th June (conference), 19th June (conference) and 20th June (mRNA training) 2025

The UK-South East Asia Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub (UK-SEA Vax Hub, https://ukseavaxhub.org/) is a £7.6M initiative led by the University of Sheffield, with financial support from the UK’s Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). The hub aims to strengthen the preparedness and response of low- and middle-income countries in Southeast Asia against future pandemics and epidemics. The UK-SEA Vax Hub Annual Meeting brings together global experts, industry leaders, and researchers in vaccine R&D and manufacturing to exchange knowledge, showcase regional capabilities, build professional networks, and establish new academic and commercial partnerships to combat infectious disease threats in Southeast Asia. To commemorate Malaysia’s chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025, the 2025 meeting will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is co-organized by Malaysia’s Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Ministry of Health (MOH), Monash University Malaysia, Thailand’s National Vaccine Institute (NVI), Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre (SIDC), Chula Vaccine Research Centre (ChulaVRC), and the University of Sheffield.
