ESCAPE36DescriptionEuropean Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering 36 Sheffield 2026 The 36th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering will be held in the UK from Sunday 21 June to Wednesday 24 June 2026 at the University of Sheffield. Since it began, ESCAPE has become a prestigious platform for the process systems engineering community to connect with experts, share innovative ideas, and explore latest advancements. Spread across four days, researchers, industry professionals, and students, will enjoy a wide range of presentations, posters, plenary speakers, workshops, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and social events. The ESCAPE series is an annual conference series which began in 1991, initiated by the CAPE Working Party of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, with the aim of consolidating the pioneering events held by the party since 1968. ESCAPE36 will be the second time the symposium has been held in the UK, after taking place in London in 2012. UK LCA Network Annual Conference 2026DescriptionFollowing the success of last year's LCA-RSIN conference, we are happy to open registrations for the inaugural UK LCA Network annual conference. This year's expanded conference will bring together the Life Cycle Assessment community for a full two-day programme of knowledge exchange and networking We look forward to welcoming members from across the LCA field - including policymakers, regulators, researchers, practitioners and industry experts - to two of The University of Sheffield’s state-of-the-art buildings: Day 1: The Wave (Tues, 16th June) There will also be formal and informal networking opportunities, including an optional conference dinner on the evening of the first day. What to Expect There will be a diverse range of presentations, plenary talks, and interactive sessions spread across the two days, alongside poster displays and panel discussions featuring government and industry leaders. The conference will also feature practical teach-ins, workshops, and live demonstrations designed to address the evolving needs and challenges of the LCA community. Attendees will be able to connect with experts from across sectors as we bring together a wealth of LCA knowledge to share different perspectives, roles and insights.
