Digital Humanities InstituteDigital Humanities InstituteDigital Humanities Congress 2022DescriptionThe Digital Humanities Congress is a conference held in Sheffield every two years. Its purpose is to promote the sharing of knowledge, ideas and techniques within the digital humanities. Digital humanities is understood by Sheffield to mean the use of technology within arts, heritage and humanities research as both a method of inquiry and a means of dissemination. As such, proposals related to all disciplines within the arts, humanities and heritage domains are welcome. The registration fee includes full attendance for the three days of the conference, lunches and all refreshments. There is an optional, additional fee for the conference dinner which you can add to your booking during check-out. Accommodation is not included and should be booked separately. The conference will take place at the University’s residential conference facility, The Edge. Our Conference dinner will be held on the evening of Friday 9th of September at Inox Dine. All delegates, speakers and exhibitors are invited to attend. All tickets include wine, and a delicious 3-course 'Love it Local' meal. The ‘Love it Local’ menu gives you a taste of Sheffield. These dishes support the Sheffield community by using produce for suppliers’ right on our doorstep.
