Dutch is an accessible and fun language to learn! From October 2024, Dutch at the University of Sheffield offers a brand new Online Dutch Course, specially designed for people who want to learn Dutch from the comfort of their own home.

Dutch is an accessible Germanic language spoken by 25 million people across the Netherlands, Belgium, Suriname and parts of the Caribbean. It is also consistently in the top five of languages most frequently requested by UK employers.
