Detailed Description
This series looks at a range of clinical disorders in the psychiatric field giving an overview of the ICD10 classification in visual form.
Each programme deals with one of the following diagnostic areas and takes a comprehensive look at the disorders within it.
Each DVD observes a number of interviews with patients. Prior to the interviews, the characteristic features of the disorder are described, and the viewer is given points to look for and related phenomenology in the respective patients (captioned as they appear). Following each interview, similarities and differences with other disorders are highlighted and discussed to facilitate differential diagnosis.
This series is ideal for group teaching or individual viewing. Each DVD is self-contained but works well as part of the set. Differential diagnosis in psychiatry is aimed at practitioners in the mental health or related fields who need to develop a basic working knowledge of psychopathology.
It will be of particular use to undergraduate medical students; junior doctors in psychiatry, general practice and accident and emergency; nursing staff and social workers in the mental health field.
All seven programmes in this series are available for the reduced price of £195 (excluding VAT).
