Survival Chinese, Spring Semester 2025DescriptionInterested in learning Chinese? Immerse yourself in this essential language learning experience tailored for real-life situations. • Designed as an intensive 10-hour crash course, it caters to learners with little or no prior knowledge of Mandarin. Course materials: The course features a flavourful introduction to the Mandarin language, covering essential words and expression for everyday usage of the language, such as greetings, shopping, making an appointment, getting to places, checking in and out of a hotel and ordering food, and so on. The course uses materials developed by the CI, and handouts will be provided. Course Duration: The upcoming Survival Chinese course will take place from Mon-Fri, 3rd-7th February 2025, 6:30-8:30pm. totalling 10 contact hours. Venue: Room DB09.
