Description

International conference on hyperpolarised noble gases. Location is Loch Lomond, Scotland.

This international conference is devoted to presenting and discussing recent advances and current problems in the polarisation, management, and applications of hyperpolarised gases (He, Xe, Kr, pure or combined with alkali vapors). Established as well as prospective fields of application in fundamental and applied physics, biomedicine, imaging, and instrumentation will be addressed. The conference spans all areas of expertise, from the physics of the polarisation processes, to surface science, to lung physiology. As well as scientific presentations, there will be tutorials from experts in the field of polarised noble gas research.

The conference is located in the stunning surroundings of the Lodge on Loch Lomond, a lochside hotel and conference venue in the picturesque village of Luss, Scotland. Overlooking the water and framed by the mountains of the Trossachs, the venue offers modern meeting facilities, comfortable accommodation, and easy access from Glasgow. This unique setting provides an ideal atmosphere for both focussed scientific exchange and informal networking.
