DescriptionSocial events on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th June for delegates of Living Machines 2025. As part of the Living Machines 2025 conference at the University of Sheffield, we are organising two extra social events on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th July. On Friday evening there will be a post-conference party at the Punch Bowl, 236 Crookes, Sheffield S10 1TH. Food will be available to purchase from the Punch Bowl or the many nearby restaurants. The evening will include a live performance by the Algorithmics – a rock band which includes several of the conference organisers! – from 20.30. On Saturday there will be a trip to the Peak District National Park. A coach will be provided, with a place on the coach costing £10. The itinerary can be found on the 'More Info' tab. You also have the option to join the first part of the trip and return by public transport at 2pm by taking the train from Grindleford Station.
