Detailed Description
Programme 1: considers the history and theory of hypnosis, attempting also to deal with some of the misconceptions patients may have about it. Programme II: looks at the power of suggestion in more detail, emphasising the importance of the ‘total surgery environment’ in producing a relaxed state in the patient. Programme III: demonstrates, on an adult and a child, four methods of induction.
