The Chinese language is more intuitive to learn than you may have heard about. The language functions well without regular or irregular verb conjugation, gender, or plurals, nor spelling rules. Yet, a person with a single brush can create a work of art with even a grocery list they write.

This short three-session course serves as an introduction to the language for individuals who are interested in learning Chinese and who are drawn to the culture or the business world. Through its writing system, the language offers a window into its own history and culture.

Day 1: The beginning of Chinese writing (word formation and writing)
Day 2: Chinese words:  Chinese words (compound words) and sentences (word order)
Day 3: Chinese at home: Chinese surnames and names, words and terms between family members and friends.

Please note, this course is in-person attendance only.

An Early Bird Offer is available until Friday 11 September, 11:59pm which provides a 10% discount on this course.

We also offer a range of 12-week Chinese language and culture courses, please search ""Chinese"" on the Online Store for more information.

Cancellation Terms: Refunds for Decoding Chinese are available if requested prior to the course start date.
