CCIAS was set up in the 1990s to enable local chemical companies to have access to high quality analytical equipment that their company could not normally afford to purchase.

Since its inception, the customer base of CCIAS has grown and now encompasses the whole of the United Kingdom. The service available Chromatography, Glass blowing, Inductively coupled plasma spectrometry, Mass spectrometry,Elemental analysis, NMR,Spectroscopic services - Infrared and UV spectroscopy and X-Ray.
