This is an introduction to the basic concepts of CNC lathe-work, and typical applications in today’s modern engineering environment.

This course enables the candidate to gain an understanding of the first principles employed in CNC turning. It will enable the learner to have an understanding of the safety aspects of automated turning processes used in the manufacturing industry. You will gain an understanding of basic G-Coding and will manually program the machine to simulate several components of varying difficulty.
