As part of the Confucius Institute at the University, the Star Mandarin School provides Mandarin language (simplified characters), Maths and Arts to children and young people, aged 3.5-18 from all backgrounds.

We follow school calendar and open on weekends. TWO streams of Mandarin courses are offered to English-Speakers and to Chinese Heritage-Speakers.

Mandarin courses are 2h/w, either face-to-face, online via the University Google Meet or blended/mixed. In-person venue: The School of Law, Bartolome House, Winter Street, Sheffield S3 7ND.

Fees are paid for a school year: from 16th September 2023 to 14th July 2024 
Fee rate: £3.50/h.
