SICCL-Planting seeds for the future of intellectual property law ConferenceDescriptionA Conference on "Planting seeds for the future of intellectual property law – A conference in honour of Margaret Llewelyn" Full event title: Planting seeds for the future of intellectual property law – A conference in honour of Margaret Llewelyn. Submit a paper: Intellectual property scholars and practitioners interested in intellectual property law are encouraged to submit and/or attend this event. All forms of IP are relevant, whether patents, copyrights, trademarks, plant breeders’ rights, geographical indications, design rights, trade secrets or others. We particularly welcome submissions from PhD students and ECRs. To submit a proposal for a presentation, applicants must submit an abstract of a maximum of 500 words to [email protected] by 5pm on 14 April 2023. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application by email in early May. The programme will be circulated in due course. Event abstract: Professor Margaret Llewelyn was well known to the international Intellectual Property Law community as an authority on plant intellectual property. She completed her PhD in intellectual property law at Aberystwyth before pursuing an academic career at institutions across Europe, and was based at the University of Sheffield from 1994 until her retirement.
