Registration and Accommodation packages for students taking part in Orientation Week 2017
Orientation Week takes place from 11-15 September 2017. It includes a variety of events and activities aimed at helping new students make friends and settle into life in Sheffield before Intro Week starts. If you require accommodation during Orientation Week, you must book and pay for this in advance. There are several packages available depending on when you will arrive in Sheffield. All accommodation packages run through to the morning of Friday 15 September, when you will need to move to your permanent accommodation. If you are moving into University accommodation for the rest of the semester/year, you will be able to move into your room on Friday 15 September even if this is earlier than the date stated on your accommodation contract.
There is a minimum stay length of two nights, so accommodation booking for just Thursday 14 September is unfortunately not possible. All accommodation bookings include breakfast. Breakfast will be served every morning in the dining hall and include options for all dietary requirements. No other meals are included in the booking. Most flats will be mixed-sex; if you wish to stay in single-sex accommodation (male only or female only) please select this option on the booking form. If you book before Tuesday 29th August we will guarantee you a place in a single-sex flat; after this date, we will try to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it - if it is not possible, we will contact you separately to inform you of your options.
Your booking includes £5 registration fee for Orientation Week activities.
PLEASE NOTE: Once you have filled in the form and placed the item in your basket you must then check out and pay in order to complete your accommodation booking. Once you have done this you will receive a confirmation email which contains details about where the accommodation is and how to check in once you arrive in Sheffield. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact email@example.com to enquire.
