Molecular Biology and Biotechnology
We carry out leading edge research in molecular aspects of biology and teach a wide range of courses for undergraduates and postgraduates, with a large PhD programme. Together with the Departments of Biomedical Science and Animal and Plant Science, we form a grouping of over 100 academic staff.
The degree ceremony for students graduating this year from the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology will take place on Friday 21st July 2017 at 3.30pm in the Octagon Centre.
Before the ceremony you are invited to attend a Departmental buffet lunch in Firth Hall that will commence at approximately 12.00 noon. The buffet is informal, allowing graduates, guests and staff to mingle freely throughout the event. Seating and tables will be available in the Quadrangle of Firth Court and in the Krebs Café.
There is no charge for graduating students to attend. There is a charge of £10 per person for guests over 14 years of age (children under 14 are free). There is a limit to the number of tickets available; these will be given on a first come first served basis.
Please bring the receipt along with you as this will be used as your ticket.
