Odessa: end of award conference

Optimising care delivery models to support ageing-in-place - Odessa - has been a collaborative venture between The University of Sheffield, the University of Central Lancashire, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, and Université Paris, Dauphine, France.

The three-year, €1 million venture has worked with people who are over the traditional retirement age of 60, with a particular focus on the over 80s, to find new and innovative ways of adapting a person’s home so that they can live independently for longer and avoid residential care.

This final conference presents the findings of the Project, featuring renowned speakers across ageing, housing, and assisted living. Since its inception in March 2015, Odessa has explored the factors that impact the different ways in which older people in China, the UK and France experience care delivery.
